I am Associated professor in the Department of Chemistry at University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP). I received my BS and MS in Chemistry in 1999 and 2002, respectively, both from Federal University of Paraná in Brazil, and I obtained my PhD in 2006 working on the Luminescent Particles and hybrid materials at São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil with a PhD Sandwich at Centre d'Elaboration de Materiaux et d'Etudes Structurales in France (2005). Post doctoral period at Centre d'Elaboration de Materiaux et d'Etudes Structurales - CNRS (Toulouse/França 2006-2007) and I was invited professor at Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III), France in 2016. Nowadays, I am the head of the NanoLum lab, and my research activities are on Inorganic Chemistry, Photoluminescence Spectroscopy, Lanthanide doped Nanomaterials and Nanostructures for Photonic Applications.
