Obtained a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Unifesp (1999), and a PhD in Psychobiology from the same institution (Unifesp, 2004). Trained as a Post-doctoral fellow at Tufts University (Boston, MA, USA) with research in the area of psychopharmacology of drug abuse and aggression (2006-2009). Since 2010 she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychobiology, at Escola Paulista de Medicina, EPM - Unifesp. She develops research projects in Psychopharmacology, with focus on Neuropsicopharmacology and main interests in: neurobiology and neuropharmacology of drug abuse and dependence; social stress, behavioral pharmacology, and aggression.
