graduation at Graduação e Licenciatura em Química from Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Araraquara, Ensino Superior (1965) and doctorate at Curso de Química from Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Araraquara, Ensino Superior (1973). He is currently full professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and professora titular em atividade voluntária at Instituto de Química da Unesp. Has experience in Microbiology, focusing on Industrial Microbiology and of Fermentation, acting on the following subjects: saccharomyces, saccharomyces cerevisiae, flotation, cell separation and baker's yeast.
