He has a degree in Physics with an emphasis on Experimental Physics and Instrumentation. He is currently an Associate Professor at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in electron microscopy (SEM and TEM) and probe microscopy (AFM and STM) having developed and patented light collection systems for microscopes. He works mainly in Microscopy Techniques, Semiconductor Materials and Nanotechnology from an Applied Physics perspective. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
