Coordinate the laboratories of Research & Diagnostic and Biotechnology, chairing the Internal Biosafety Commission. Guides graduate students in the professional master?s degree in Citrus Disease and Pest Control (Fundecitrus) and in the master?s and doctorate degree in Biotechnology (Unesp/IQ Araraquara). Biologist graduated at UFPR (1994) with master?s degree (1997) and doctorate (2002) in Agricultural Microbiology at ESALQ/USP. Experiences in collaborative research projects developed in Brazil and in Germany, France, Spain and the United States. Develop research with citrus vascular pathogens, citrus biotechnology for disease resistance, molecular diagnosis, gene expression, plant pathogen genomics, gene flow in citrus, plant-pathogen proteome and resistance induction in plants against pathogens.
