I have a Ph.D. in Medical Pathophysiology (Structural Biology, Cell, Molecular and Development - State University of Campinas, Brazil), and I am currently holding a position as Research Scientist by the University of Sao Paulo (IFSC-Laboratory of Biophotonics ), working in the areas such as Physics, Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biotechnology. With experience in basic research (in vitro studies with cell cultures, and microorganisms) and applied (clinical trials and animal studies) in the areas of treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer, lesions caused by HPV (Human papillomavirus), microbial control, nanostructured formulations containing photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy. I have experience in processes for research approvals by the Ethics Committee on Animal Use (CEUA) and the National Research Ethics Commission (CONEP) with Human Beings.
