Adriana Machado Saldiba de Lima has a degree in Nutrition from USP and a PhD in Sciences from the Endocrinology program at USP's School of Medicine. She was a post-doctoral fellow (FAPESP) and developed her project at the Laboratory of Lipids (LIM-10) at USP School of Medicine and at the Diabetes Research Program at New York University, Langone Medical Center, New York, USA. She studies chronic and degenerative diseases of aging in clinical and basic research, with emphasis on nutritional aspects, lipid metabolism and the formation of advanced glycation products. She is currently coordinator and permanent faculty member of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Science of Aging at São Judas Tadeu University, researcher at the Instituto Anima and assistant researcher at the Lipid Laboratory (LIM-10) at FMUSP.
