She completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine (1999) at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and completed her Medical Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics (2002) at the same institution. She holds a Master's degree in Tocogynecology (2005) and a Doctorate (2006) in Tocogynecology from Unicamp (2006). She holds the title of Livre Docência (2018) from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Ribeirão Preto. She has been a full-time professor at the Department of Tocogynecology at Unicamp since 2009, currently an associate professor. She is a full professor in the Postgraduate Program (grade 7 CAPES-Medicine III). She holds the title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (TEGO) from the Brazilian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, specializing in gynecological endoscopy from the Brazilian Medical Association, and a title in gynecology and obstetric ultrasound from the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. She has been the coordinator of the human reproduction service at the José Aristodemo Pinotti Hospital (CAISM/UNICAMP) since 2017. She is the vice president of the Specialty Committee of the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FEBRASGO), a member of the Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SOGESP) (FEBRASGO), a member of the Brazilian Urogynecology Society (UROGINAP), and a member of the Brazilian Society of Human Reproduction. She regularly publishes in specialized journals, with over 100 fully indexed articles on PubMed/Medline (60 in the last 5 years), 759 citations in Web of Science-2023, and an H-index of 15. She has published 4 book chapters. She has supervised/co-supervised 17 master's theses, 8 doctorates, 9 undergraduate research students, and 5 thesis projects. Currently, she is supervising 5 master's theses, 4 doctorates, 1 undergraduate research student, and 1 thesis project. She has received 12 awards for best works at national conferences and 4 awards at the annual meeting of the International Urogynecology Association.
