M.A.Cebim holds a B.Sc. (2001), M.Sc. (2004) and Ph.D. (2008) in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at São Paulo State University (IQ-UNESP). He served as a Fellow Researcher at the Luminescent Materials Laboratory (LML-IQ-UNESP; 2009-2010). He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Analytical, Physicochemical and Inorganic Chemistry at IQ-UNESP, campus of Araraquara, working in the fields of Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Spectroscopy, with the following research interests: atomic and molecular spectroscopy, X-ray excited optical luminescence, dynamic luminescent measurements, lanthanide-based materials, scintillators, sunscreens and solar protection, and coordination polymers.
