Isabele Rodrigues Nascimento

Bachelor in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1995). Master (1998) and PhD (2002) in Chemistry by IQ-UNESP. Specialization at the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Washington State University, USA (1999). She is currently a professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara - UNESP. She has experience in the area of Chemistry, with emphasis on Chemistry of Natural Products, working mainly on the following subjects: phytochemistry, lignans, species of Aristolochiaceae and Pontederiaceae families, and aquatic macrophytes.
