She has a degree in history from UNESP - Franca (1986), and a Masters (2000) and PhD (2004) in Education from UNESP - Araraquara. She has taught in county and state schools. She has undergraduate and graduate teaching experience in administration, information systems, tourism, languages, teacher and principal development, and school and system management. She has been a principal and a school district supervisor for State of São Paulo Education Office. She is currently a professor at the Education Department at the Federal University in São Carlos- Brazil, lecturing at presential and online basic teacher undergraduate courses.
