Associate Professor at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP) and at the Graduate Program in Audiovisual Media and Processes (PPGMPA). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Popular Music and a Master's degree in Sociology from Unicamp, a PhD in Communication Sciences, and is a Free Lecturer in Sound for Audiovisual Media at ECA/USP. Completed post-doctoral internships at the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Media of Birmingham City University, BCU (UK, 2014), as a FAPESP scholarship recipient; at the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, UCM (Spain, 2018), as a FAPESP scholarship recipient; and again at the same institution in 2023, through the PrInt-CAPES program of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Editor of "Novos Olhares: revista de estudos sobre práticas de recepção a produtos midiáticos" ( Coordinator of MidiaSon: a Research and Production Group in Sound Media, accredited by CNPq and ECA/SUP, and the Radio Studies Working Group of the National Association of Graduate Programs in Communication - Compós. Has been a Productivity in Research Fellow (PQ) by CNPq since 2014 and a research associate at the Research, Innovation, and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics, NeuroMat (FAPESP/IME/USP) since 2019.
