Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Sao Paulo (1986), Master of Technology by the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Research (1992) and Ph.D. in Space Geophysics from the National Institute for Space Research (2001). Has professional experience in research on Radiological Protection and Atmospheric Modeling and renewable energy resources assessment. In recent years has participated in research projects developed by INPE in collaboration with national and international research institutions like SWERA project (http:/swera.unep.net/swera/) funded by UNEP (United Nation Environmental Program) and SONDA Project (www.cptec.inpe.br / probe) funded by PETROBRAS and FINEP. It has done work and research activities focusing on the following areas: remote sensing, renewable energy resources, geographical information systems and applications of radiation technology in radiology. He is currently a reviewer for national and international journals such as Solar Energy, Energy Policy, among others. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
