Laisa has graduated in Electrical Engineering with Telecommunications enphasis by the Engineering School of the University of São Paulo (2004). She received her master degree in 2009 and PhD degree in 2015 in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2013 she was a visiting researcher in the Ubiquitous Swarm Lab at the University of California (UC) in Berkeley. Currently she is a R&D Engineer at LSI -TEC, acting as project leader. She collaborates with the Interdiciplinary Center for Interactive Technologies at the University of Sao Paulo (CITI-USP) and with the Ubiquitous Swarm Lab at UC Berkeley. She is experienced with embedded systems , especially in the of Internet of Things (IoT), Accessibility and Digital TV fields. Participates in the IoT Forum and in the Brazilian Digital Television Forum, in which she participated in the standards writing proccess. She is IEEE and ACM member, being in the Consumer Electronics Brazilian Chapter committee.
