Prof. Dr. Luiz Alberto Berlado de Moraes was graduated in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1991), master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1995) and a PhD in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2000). He is currently associate professor in the chemistry department FFCLRP of the University of São Paulo. He is group leader of the Mass Spectrometry applied to bioactive Natural Products. Has experience in Organic Chemistry with emphasis on liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (LC-MS / MS), acting on the following topics: dereplication of crude microbial extracts, isolation of bioactive secondary metabolites produced by actinomycetes and development analytical methods using tandem mass spectrometry.
