Breno Esposito has a BSc in Chemistry (1994) and a MSc (1997) and PhD (2000) in Inorganic Chemistry by the Universidade de São Paulo. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2000-2002) working on iron metabolism and fluorescent probes for iron. He was a visiting faculty to the University of Queensland (Australia, 2014) and to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (USA, 2019-2020). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Universidade de São Paulo. He has experience in Inorganic Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Chelation Therapy and the development of Metallodrugs.
