Head of the Physical-Chemical Characterization Laboratory and Leader of the Research Group on Carbonaceous and Electroactive Polymeric Materials. Graduated from the Federal University of Alagoas, in Chemical Engineering (1998), Master from the State University of Campinas, State University of Campinas Extension FEQ UNICAMP, in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Processes Development area/catalysis 2001) and Doctor from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics - ITA , in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering (area of Chemistry and Physics of Materials / Carbonous Materials 2008), works in the area of Physical-Chemistry of Materials and Processes related to Carbon-polymeric conductors, dielectric semiconductors, with electrochemical applications, especially for supercapacitors, batteries and biosensors, including hybrids with conductive and dielectric polymers, biopolymers, crosslinked vitreous carbon, carbon fiber, graphene, nanostructured and two-dimensional ceramics. He is a professor at the Space Science and Technology Program at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica-ITA, he has taught classes in Fundamental and Applied Classical Chemical Kinetics and Electrochemistry.
