Helber Custódio de Freitas

Bachelor in Meteorology (University of São Paulo, 1998), Master in meteorology (University of São Paulo, 2001) and PhD in applied ecology (University of São Paulo, 2012). Develops research in soil-vegetation-atmosphere processes. Has experience in Geosciences with emphasis on biosphere-atmosphere interaction, working mainly with CO2 balance using eddy covariance technique in Amazonia, atlantic forest, brazilian savanna and agroecosystems in southeast Brazil. Has expertise in development of autonomous systems for environmental monitoring and a special interest in low-cost sensor development for environmental investigations.Recently, is focused on equivalent carbon (CO2, methane and nitrous oxide) quantifications investigating grasses vegetations ( sugar cane and pasture) taking account natural and anthropogenic processes like adubation and cattle presence.
