Dr. Carlos Hotta is Assistant Professor at the Biochemistry Department at University of São Paulo (Brazil). Has graduated in Biology at Universidade de São Paulo (2000), got a Master's Degree in Animal Physiology from Universidade de São Paulo (2002) and a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from University of Cambridge (2007). His research group is interested in the circadian rhythms of plants, mainly grasses. The main topic of his research is to study how the circadian clock increases the productivity of a plant.
