Renê Donizeti Ribeiro de Oliveira

I have a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (2000), a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (2009), a postdoctoral degree from the University of Glasgow (2013) and the professorship tilte (2023). I'm graduating in Data Science from the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP). I am currently an assistant physician at the Discipline of Rheumatology at HCRP-FMRP-USP and at the Rehabilitation Center at HCRP-FMRP-USP at the University of São Paulo, an activity I dedicate myself to full-time. Since 2009 I have contributed to the training of new professionals - either by teaching medicine and physiotherapy students, residents in internal medicine and rheumatology, or by training new researchers, such as scientific initiation, master's and doctoral students. As a scientific initiation advisor, I completed the supervision of 6 students and currently supervise 1 student. As a preceptor of the medical residency in Rheumatology at the HCRP at FMRP-USP, I contributed to the training of 65 residents. As a postgraduate advisor, I completed the guidance of 8 students and currently advise 9 regular, master's (professional and academic) and doctoral students. My lines of research are: HLA, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, cDNA microarrays, gene expression by RT-PCR and microRNAs, NETs (Neutrophil extracellular traps) in autoimmune diseases, inflammation in 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ), and medical education in Rheumatology.
