Graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1995), Masters and Doctorate in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, in 1998 and 2002 respectively. She did an 8-month research internship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) in 2001 and was a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia (Canada) for 12 months (2015-2016). From 2009 to 2014, she was an Associate Professor at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at USP Polytechnic School. She was the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Metallurgical Engineering of the Polytechnic School of USP (2012-2014) and alternate coordinator of the Research Committee of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of EPUSP (2009-2012). She is currently an Associate Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department of EPUSP, a memberting Committee of the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering of EPUSP (2014-current), of the Coordina and Deputy Head of the Chemical Engineering Department of EPUSP (2018-2022). She serves as Technical Advisor at USP's Environmental Management Superintendency (2018-2022) and represents USP at the State Environmental Council (2018-2022). Main research topics: recycling, waste treatment, hydrometallurgy, extractive metallurgy, WEEE recycling (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
