Graduated in Physics from the University of San Agustin (Peru). She obtained the MSc and PhD titles from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). She was postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), the University of Santiago de Chile, the National Technical University of Athens (Greece), and the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). She was also part-time lecturer at the University of Chile and the National University Andres Bello (Chile). At present time she is a professor at the Engineering School of Lorena - University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). Her research in theoretical physics involves: Black Holes, Brane Cosmology, Alternative Models of Gravitation in 2+1 and N dimensions, and applications of the AdS/CFT conjecture.
