Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Biology, master and Ph.D. degrees in Genetics and Molecular Biology in the University of Campinas. Has a strong background on population genetics, molecular evolution, and comparative phylogenetic analysis of metadata. Currently in the third post-doc position in Bioinformatics at LGE/Unicamp, the main work focus is omics data analyzes in an evolutionary perspective. Have been developing projects on comparative genomics and transcriptomics on biological systems for biotechnology applications, such as biomass fermenting yeasts and plant pathogen fungi infecting cocoa trees.
