I have a degree in Geology from the University of São Paulo (1977), Masters in Remote Sensing by the National Institute for Space Research (1982) and PhD in Geosciences (Mineral Resources and Hydrogeology) from the University of São Paulo (1991). I conducted post-doctoral internship at geobotany at the University of Toulouse III in 1999. Since then dedicate myself mainly to research in geobotany by remote sensing. I was a professor full-time basis at the University of São Paulo between October 1990 and June 2016, where among other activities I coordinated the Graduate Program in Mineral Resources and Hydrogeology of USP Geosciences Institute from 2002 to 2011. I I retired in June 2016 as associate professor II. I have experience in Geosciences with an emphasis on geobotany for Remote Sensing and hydrogeochemical and isotopic Hydrogeochemical of the Pantanal lakes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
