Prof. Bruno Masiero graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2005. In 2007 he receive a M.Sc. from the University of São Paulo for his work on active noise control. Immediately thereafter he initiated research work in the area of binaural hearing and spatial audio reproduction at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and in 2012 was awarded a Ph.D in engineering. In 2015 he joined the University of Campinas (Unicamp) as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Electrical and Computing Engineering and a board member of the International Commission on Acoustics. His research interests includes acoustic signal processing, active sound control, spatial sound reproduction, room acoustics, psychoacoustics and sparse optimization problems.
