Post doctoral work at Rutgers University, USA (1982-1983) and Helmholtz-Institut fur Strahlen-und Kernphysik der Universistat Bonn, Germany (1998-1999). Presently scientific resercher. General manager of the research reactor center at IPEN-CNEN/SP(2000-2009), Head of the department of Nuclear Physics and Chemistry(190-2000), Head of the Nuclear Physics Division(1984-1990). Revieved the title of "Emeritus Scientist" from IPEN-CNEN/SP in 2017. Has large experience in low energy nuclear physic, nuclear solid state physics and applications of nuclear techniques. Main research interests are in the magnetic materials and magnetic properties of metal oxides and intermetallic compounds, nuclear hyperfine interaction studies through perturbed gamma-gamma anguar correlation spectroscopy. Other research interests include application of radioisotopes and radiation in industry, nuclear level schemes studied through radioactive decay. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
