Scientific research of the Agronomic Institute of Campinas. He is coordinator of the Citrus Biotechnology Laboratory in the Citriculture Center, in Cordeirópolis, São Paulo. Currently he is its Director. His main research area includes studies on the plant-pathogen interactions with focus in the integration of genetic breeding and genomic. Supported by CNPq his coordinated grants of PADCT II, Pronex, BioEx and Millennium Institute. In the FAPESP he is leader of Thematic and Individual Projects. He collaborates as adviser in the Master of Science and PhD of Genetic and Molecular Biology and Functional and Molecular Biology at University of Campinas (Unicamp), and Genetic at Unesp (Botucatu). He is the leader of the National Institute for Science and Technology of Genomics for Citrus Breeding. Member of the National Technical Committee on Biosafety (CTNBio) and Member of the Advisory Committee on Biotechnology (CA-BI) of CNPq. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
