Has a Bachelor in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1990), Master of Science degree from the Institute of Nuclear and Energy Research (1997) and PhD in Sciences Institute of Nuclear and Energy Research (2007). Executive course management and leadership in SLOAN-MIT (2014). Acted as coordinator of Technology Transfer Office and vice coordinator of Research, Development and Education Board at IPEN, is part of the research staff of the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute. He has experience in health care, with emphasis on Optical Diagnostic methods, its main line of research is Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and speckle analysis in the following areas: dermatology, dentistry and ophthalmology.
