Dr. Adriana Lopes Moreira is a professor at the Department of Music (CMU) of the School of Communications and Arts (ECA) at the University of São Paulo (USP, 2004-), and at the Graduate Studies of Music (PPGMUS-ECA-USP, 2010-); Chair of the Music Undergraduate Studies (CMU-ECA-USP, 2017-2019); Coordinator of the Research Group entitled TRAMA: THEORY AND MUSICAL ANALYSIS, focused on the application of emerging theoretical concepts for the analytical practice of musical works (ECA and CNPq, 2015-); Founder and co-coordinator of the PAM Laboratory of Perception and Musical Analysis (CMU, 2008-); Co-coordinator of the International Meetings of Musical Theory and Analysis, EITAM (2009-); Member of the Administrative Technical Council (CTA-ECA-USP, 2019-); Member of the Editorial Councils of the scientific journals OPUS, of the National Association of Research and Graduate in Music, ANPPOM (2015-) and ORFEU (UDESC, 2015-20); Member of the Editorial Board of the Art Research Journal, ARJ (2012-) and Revista Música (USP, 2015-); External collaborator of Caravelas, Center for Studies on the History of Luso-Brazilian Music, FCSH-UNL, Portugal (2012-). She was previously: Editor-in-chief of ANPPOM publications (2011-15), which include the scientific journal OPUS (Qualis-CAPES A1), the Brazilian Music Research series and the scientific coordination of the annual congresses; she was co-proponent of the Didactic-Musical Series (EDUSP and Ed. UNICAMP) and translator for the Portuguese language of Ear Training: A Technique for Listening (Benward, Kolosick, 2009) and Sightsinging Complete (Carr; Benward, 2011); of the Commission for Elaboration and Realization of the Proficiency in Music of the CMU-ECA-USP of the Tests of Admission of the FUVEST she was consultant (2011-13), president (2007-10) and vice president (2005-06); she was coordinator of the CMU Research Commission (2012-14), deputy coordinator of PPGMUS and member of the Program Coordination Commission, CCP (ECA-USP, 2013-2017), deputy head of CMU (2010-11) and vice-coordinator of the CMU Graduation Commission (2005-10); Senior Representative of Doctors Professors (2009-11, 2013-17) and alternate representative of Master Teachers at the Departmental Council of CMU (2005-07); Member of the ANPPOM with the Brazilian Committee on Information and Documentation, ABNT / CE-14 (2011-12), member of the ECA Library Commission (2012-13), coordinator of Communication of the CMU (2006-08) and representative of the CMU with the ECA Editions Working Group (2005). She has a PhD in Music / Musical Analysis (UNICAMP, 2008); Master in Arts-Music / Theoretical Foundations (UNICAMP, 2002) and a Diploma in Music / Piano Instrument (UNICAMP, 1993). The emphasis of her work is focused on studies of Theory, Analysis and Musical Perception, acting on the following topics: Music of the XXth and XXIst centuries; Almeida Prado; Olivier Messiaen; Piano.
