Has experience in medicine, focusing on nephrology, acting on the following subjects: hypertension, metabolic syndrome, chronic kidney disease, epidemiology and medical education. Expertise in conducting clinical trials as principal investigator since 1989 in studies phases II, III and IV. Was coordinator of the Postgraduate Progam "Education in Health Professions" at PUC-SP (2011 to 2015; 2020-present).
