Birthplace: Brazil

I am a researcher at the Center for Environmental Studies and Research at Unicamp (NEPAM), where I develop interdisciplinary investigations in the broad areas of Environmental Sciences, Archeology, and History based on thematic areas linked to Heritage, Memory, and Public Archeology. I investigate, for example, how to construct socio-environmental vulnerability indicators for the archaeological heritage of the north coast of São Paulo. I work as responsible for the Paulo Duarte Public Archeology Laboratory (LAP Nepam/Unicamp). I carry out activities as a full professor in the postgraduate programs in Environment and Society (NEPAM/IFCH/Unicamp), in History (IFCH/Unicamp), and in the Professional Master's Degree in History (ProfHistória/IFCH/Unicamp). I participate in research groups at CNPq and Working Groups at ICOMOS and Anpuh, among other institutions, on Environmental History, Public Archeology, and Heritage. I have a doctorate from the Center for Environmental Studies and Research (Nepam/IFCH/Unicamp: 2005- 2009) and a master's in Cultural History (History/IFCH/Unicamp: 2003/2005). In the international field, I participate in research networks on biocultural heritage coordinated by UNAM/Mx. I completed my post-doctorate at the Department of History/Unicamp. I coordinate the Center for Environmental Studies and Research (NEPAM/COCEN/Unicamp) and the Paulo Duarte Public Archeology Laboratory (LAP/NEPAM). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
