PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2009), working on the subjects Atypical enteropathogenic Escherichia coli and intracellular infection. She developed a postdoctoral project in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo (2016), working mainly on the following topics: atypical enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Escherichia albertii, intestinal cell bacterial infection in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo .
