Has experience in Mathematics, focusing on Functional Differential Equations, acting on the following subjects: neutral equations, abstract cauchy problem, semigroup of linear operators, functional differential equations and cosine function of linear operators.

In this project we continue our recents developments on abstract functional differential equations. We introduce a new class of abstract functional neutral differential equations which we call of "abstract degenerate neutral functional differential equation". Our purpose is to study the existence and qualitative properties of solutions for this type of abtract differential equations. (AU)

In this research project we intend to initiate a theory of traveling waves for partial differential equations of the neutral type. Our main goal is generalize the methods, models and results obtained recently by Jianhong Wu concerning the existence and qualitative properties of traveling waves for partial functional differential equations with delay.
