My goal is simple: to maximize the life of non-renewable resources. How: increase processes efficiency, reduce the associated environmental impacts, recycle wastes. Education in minerals engineering with emphasis on waste processing and technological characterization of mineral raw materials (USP, with a PhD in 2011). Lecturer at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo - Department of Mining and Petroleum Engineering since 2012 and member of the Research Group on Technological Characterization of Mineral Raw Materials since 2002 (Multiuser Center for Characterization Techniques). Professional in the mineral raw materials characterization, working mainly in characterization and recycling of construction and demolition waste, waste processing and characterization of geological materials. Participation in several research projects and more recently R&D. More recently, I have been dedicated to the research of porous rocks for petrophysical characterization of reservoirs, and in innovation projects. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
The production of fine recycled aggregates has been recently investigated in order to reduce the porous cement paste content of this fraction and improve the particles morphology and expand the possible applications. However, the characterization procedures of these products are scarce and constitute a major difficulty in evaluating the efficiency of the mineral processing. The market e...
