Full Professor of the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin UNICAMP. Graduated in Physics at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (1984), MA in Physics from the Institute for Theoretical Physics, UNESP (1987), another master's degree in physics from SISSA / International School For Advanced Studies, Trieste, Italy (1989) and Ph.D. in Physics from SISSA / International School For Advanced Studies, Trieste, Italy (1991). Livre-Docente from UNICAMP (1999). Received Zeferino Vaz Academic Recognition Award / UNICAMP in 2003. Did internships and post-doctoral specialization at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, at the Institute for Avanced Study in Princeton, NJ, USA, the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, HW, USA, at Institute of Theoretical Physics/UNESP and at Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin UNICAMP. He has experience in Physics of Elementary Particles and Fields, working mainly on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics. From 2004 to 2010 he was the Coordinator of the Thematic Project/FAPESP "Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics" bringing together researchers from UNICAMP, USP, UNESP, PUC-Rio and PUC-Campinas, was Head of Cosmic Rays, Advisor to the Presidency-UNICAMP and to the Dean of Extension - UNICAMP and Associate Director of the Exploratory Science Museum of UNICAMP, which helped to create. Currently is Director of the Escola de Talentos of the Instituto Principia of the Fundação Instituto de Física Teórica.. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
