Carolina Del Roveri

I am a Ceramic Technician, graduated from SENAI "Mário Amato." I have worked in research and specialized consultancy at LaRC/DEMa/UFSCar. I hold a degree in Geology from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) and a Ph.D. in Regional Geology from the Graduate Program in Geosciences/IGCE/UNESP, with a research internship at the Complutense University of Madrid. During this period, much of my research focused on the characterization of clays from the Corumbataí Formation in the Santa Gertrudes Ceramic Pole region, São Paulo, Brazil. In 2011, I participated in a Postdoctoral Program at the same institution, focusing on Industrial Minerals and researching fluxing raw materials. Since 2010, I have been an Associate Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology at the Poços de Caldas Campus, UNIFAL-MG. I am actively involved in undergraduate programs, particularly in BiCT and Mining Engineering, as well as in Graduate Programs in Materials Science and Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and the Lato Sensu Specialization Course in Mineral Engineering (CEEM). Currently, I serve as the Coordinator of Courses, Events, and Publications for the Office of Extension and Culture at UNIFAL-MG and as the Vice-Director of the Institute of Science and Technology at UNIFAL-MG. My research projects focus on Raw Materials, Mining Waste Reuse, Ceramic Materials, and Technological Characterization of Ores. I am also engaged in Education research, emphasizing Active Methodologies and the Study of Teaching Practices.
