Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (1998), Master in Genetics (2003) and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology (2007) by the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (2007). Between 2011-2014 participated in a training program on mass spectrometry and metabolomics the Center of Excellence in Metabolomics and Bioanalysis at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University San Pablo-CEU in Madrid - Spain (mobility grant Airbus Military). He remained at the same institution as pósdoc at Science Without Borders program developing a project involving metabolomics and proteomics applied to the investigation of gene function and drug resistance in Leishmania. He returned to Brazil in August 2014 through the program Science without Borders through a Youth Talent Attraction grant (BJT / CNPq) and currently is linked to the Clinical and Toxicological Analysis Department of Pharmacy Faculty of the Federal University of Minas Gerais developing a project using metabolomics analysis to discover new virulence factors in Leishmania.
