Birthplace: Brazil

Co-founder of the startup BlackGenn (2024). Holds a Bachelor's and Teaching Degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto campus (20012005). Obtained a Masters degree in Chemistry from the same institution (20062008), including a research period at the University of Talca, Chile, and earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from USP-RP (20082012). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto USP (20132015), focusing on lipidomics, which included a research stay at the University of Colorado, USA. Subsequently, she pursued a postdoc at the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering USP (20152016), specializing in targeted metabolomics of mycotoxins, followed by a postdoctoral position at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School USP (20162018), working on the metabolomics of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). She has extensive experience in metabolomics, lipidomics, and analytical method development using techniques such as LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, LC-UV, IMMS, GC-MS, and TD/GC-MS. Her expertise also includes bioassay-guided isolation, structural elucidation of organic compounds, and microbial secondary metabolites. Between 2019 and 2024, she led and coordinated FAPESP PIPE innovation projects (Phases I and II), focused on developing biological products for agriculture. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
