Physics degree from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP - (2001), master in Physics from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP -(2004), and PhD in Physics from the Humboldt University, Berlin (2008). Posdoc position at the Paul Drude Institute in 2008. Research Associate at the Physics and Astronomy Department of the Sheffield University in the UK from 2009 to 2011. Currently holds an Assistant Professor position at the University of Campinas. Has experience with optical and spectroscopyc properties of III-V semiconductor nanostructures like quantum well, dots, nanowires and semiconductor devices. His special interest is on the optical properties modulation of such structures using surface acoustic waves (SAWs). His main contributions involve experiments in spintronics, nanophotonics and quantum information science. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
