Rodrigo Stabeli was awarded his doctorate in biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto in 2003. He was director of research and innovation of the Institute for Research in Tropical Pathologies of Rondônia - Ipepatro (2006-2009) and director of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation - Rondônia unit ( 2009-2013), where he holds the position of public health specialist in biotechnology and associating professor (level IV) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rondônia (RTP / 20 - PGBIOEXP). He is currently occupying the position of Vice President of Fiocruz, head of the vice presidency of Research and Reference Laboratories - VPPLR / RJ. Stabeli is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (2008), ordinary member of the Brazilian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science and Civil Society and the Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine (SBMT), he was a member of the collegiate of the course of medicine and MD and Ph.D experimental biology post-graduated course (2005-2012), professor and graduate course advisor (MD and Ph.D.) and titular professor of the Bionorte PH.D course. Stabeli was head of the Cebio. In 2009, Stabeli was appointed in 2009 to head the body of scientific technical committee of the Ministry of biotechnology Bionorte network of Science and Technology - MCT. On 05.07.2013 he was member Director of Network Bionorte by MCTI (2013-15 term). Actively worked for the development of CTI in the north, especially in Rondonia through the creation and implementation of Rondônia Foundation of Development of Scientific Shares, Technology and the State of Rondônia Research, where he was appointed by Decree Law 16803 - Member of the First Board of Trustees of this foundation. Stabeli is currently coordinator of the Tripartite agreement between Fiocruz-USP-Institute Pasteur (France) whose main action is to install the Institute Pasteur Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
