Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Centro Universitario Barao de Maua (2003) and master's degree in Basic and Applied Immunology from the University of São Paulo (2006). Doctor of Science, the Department of Cell Biology, Molecular Pathogenic at the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, FMRP / USP. Have a Post-doctoral training at Ohio State University (OSU), associated with one of the most important Cancer research centers in United States - OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital. My personal interest is how flavonoids can immunomodulate immune response, in special,how they can modulate myeloid supressor cells (MDSCs), tumor-associated macrophages (TAM), their involvement in tumor progression and the process metastatic. He has experience in areas of Immunology, Microbiology and Tumor Immunology, acting on the following topics: TAM, M1 and M2 macrophages, Flavonoids, Apigenin, NLRs, TLRs and pathologies related to pulmonary system as Legionella pneumophila, Legionaire's disease, protective immunity , granuloma, paracoccidioidomycosis, cellular immune response (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
