Alessandro Goedtel has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (DEE / UFRGS-1996), a master's degree in the Postgraduate Program in Industrial Engineering from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FEB / UNESP-2003) and a doctorate from the School of São Carlos Engineering (EESC / USP-2007). He has been a professor at the Federal Technological University of Paraná at Campus Cornélio Procópio (UTFPR / CP) since 2017, where he teaches classes in Undergraduate, Specialization, Master, and Doctorate courses. He contributes to the review of essential journals such as Journal of Control, Automation and Electrical Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Electric Power Systems Research, Applied Softcomputing, among others. He has experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Electronic Automation of Electrical and Industrial Processes, acting mainly on the following themes: intelligent systems, electrical machines, electromagnetic drives, control of electrical machines, energy efficiency and fault diagnosis. He was coordinator of the Master's (2009) and Doctorate (2015) proposals in Electrical Engineering at UTFPR Campus Cornélio Procópio presented to CAPES, Coordinator of the Post Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at Campus Cornélio Procópio (PPGEE-CP / 2007-2013) and member of the Research and Graduate Council of UTFPR (2011-2013). He is currently Assistant Coordinator of the Associate Post Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering UTFPR-UEL. He was also a Research Productivity at Fundação Araucária 2012-2013, CNPq Research Productivity since 2014. The researcher was a member of the Collegiate of the Electrical Engineering Course (2015-2017) and a member of the Departmental Council of Electrical at UTFPR Campus Cornélio Procópio (2015-2017). He is currently a member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus (NDE) of the Electrical Engineering course, a member of the Collegiate of PPGEE-CP, and the Collegiate PPGAEE UTFPR-UEL, among other commissions. The academic production includes more than 70 articles in journals, 180 papers in the proceedings of national and international events, and 3 patents and 4 software registered at the INPI. He was also an advisor and co-advisor for Doctoral Theses, Master's Dissertations, Course Conclusion Papers, Scientific and Technological Initiation, and Supervised Internships.
