Bachelor Degree Biological Sciences (1998) and Masters in Genetics and Evolution (2001), both from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (2006), Program of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP). Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Cell Therapy - CTC (2007). Scientific and Technological Research, hired by the Blood Center Foundation of Ribeirão Preto - FUNDHERP (2007-Present). Member of the Cell Therapy Center - CTC (CEPID-FAPESP) and of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Stem Cell and Cell Therapy - INCTC. Has experience in the area of Biochemistry and Immunology, with emphasis on Molecular and Cellular Biology, working mainly with gene expression studies on a large-scale (Microarray) aimed at understanding the biology of adult stem cells (Hematopoietic and Mesenchymal), pluripotent SC , blood cancers (leukemias and lymphomas), and differentiation of T lymphocytes and Treg. Winner of several awards, including the Young Scientist Award from CNPq (2005). Scientific Advisor of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo - FAPESP (2009-Present).
