He is currently Chairman of the Brazilian Association of Metallurgy, Mining and Materials, Executive Director of the Center for Development and Characterization of Materials, and Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos. Has experience in the area of ​​Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and Management of Technological Innovation, mainly in the following areas: welding, materials and innovation.
