It has a bachelor's degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Alagoas (1992), a master's degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Campina Grande (1997) and a doctorate degree in Meteorology from the National Institute for Space Research (2006). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Geosciences, with an emphasis on Meteorology, working mainly on the following topics: environmental education, climate change, climate sensitivity, land use change, semi-arid, Amazon rainforest, deforestation, water balance, atmospheric boundary layer, modeling regional and global atmospheric, data assimilation, satellite data. He worked at INPE/CPTEC for 18 years (1997-2015) and concluded his work at the Institution with climate sensitivity studies due to increases in CO2 within the scope of the BESM Project, which allowed copyright registration with the National Library.
