She holds the title of Livre-Docente from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP).She has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis on Algebraic Topology, working primarily in coincidence theory (fixed points and coincidences of maps, BorsukUlam type results), as well as some of its applications in Game Theory and Mathematical Economics. She is an Associate Professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Rio Claro campus, in the Department of Mathematics.From September 2013 to February 2014, she carried out a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Grant 2013/07936-1, FAPESP).She has been a visiting researcher at: the Institute of Mathematics, Casimir the Great University in Bydgoszcz (Poland) in 2015; Bates College (USA) in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022; Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy (France) in 2012 and 2014; and the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland) in 2016 and 2018.She is the creator and founder of the Rio Claro Mathematics Olympiad (ORIOM), funded by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq, Process no. 406578/2022-2).She is one of the project leaders of Women in Algebraic and Geometric Topology, Dynamical Systems and Evolution Algebras, an initiative supported by the International Mathematical Union Committee for Women in Mathematics (IMU-CWM), Instituto Serrapilheira, and the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). This project aims to develop a Nielsen-Borsuk-Ulam theory for actions of finite groups, based on the theory of equivariant pre-images presented in Monis and Wong (2024). The research will apply this theory to complementary spaces of configuration-like spaces, focusing on new applications in the context of Nielsen-Borsuk-Ulam theory. (AU)

The main goal of this research project is to introduce the student to scientific research and writing. With this in mind, we propose an immersion in the basic ideas of geometric group theory, focusing on topics such as Cayley graphs and group actions, in order to provide the student with a broader understanding of the connections between geometry and algebra.
The main objective of this scientific initiation project is to initiate the student in research in Algebraic Topology. To this end, we will develop initial concepts of General Topology and culminate in the Surface Classification Theorem.
