Actually is a full professor at the Physics Institute of the University of São Paulo (USP). Bachelor and Licentiate in Physics at Universidade de São Paulo (1982), Master in Physics at Universidade de São Paulo (1985) and phd in Physics at Universidade de São Paulo (1989); "Livre Docente" ( "Habilitation") in 2000. Has experience in Physics, with focus on Condensed Matter Physics, acting on the following subjects: electronic structure, nanomagnetism, hyperfine and magnetic properties, bio-molecules.
