Associate Professor at the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto (FORP), University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a Masters degree (MSc) and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a PhD in Sciences from the same institution, which included a research fellowship at the Mesenchymal Biology and Signaling Laboratory at the University of Michigan (USA). He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (USP).He leads the ''Developmental Biology and Child Health'' research group, investigating the impact of adverse events during pregnancy and early childhood through the lens of the DOHaD theory. He established the Molecular Biology and Cell Culture Laboratory within the Department of Pediatric Dentistry (funded by a FAPESP Young Investigator Grant) and has maintained continuous research funding from FAPESP and CNPq.Regarding mentorship and human resources training, he supervises students ranging from pre-undergraduate research to postdoctoral levels, including affirmative action initiatives for public school students and participants in the Student Retention Support Program (PAPE-USP). He coordinates the ''Oral Health Literacy'' outreach project, a multimedia initiative combating scientific misinformation, which was awarded the 2025 USP Social Impact Award in the Health and Well-being category.He is actively involved in academic administration, serving as Coordinator of the Animal Facility I, the Clinical Research Center, and the Animal Research Ethics Committee (CEUA) at FORP-USP.
