Birthplace: Brazil

Associate Professor II from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship - Level 2. Graduated in physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (2004), earned his master's in condensed matter physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (2007), and a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (2012). He also completed a post-doctorate (2012-2013) at UFSCar with a FAPESP grant. He has experience in physics and electrical engineering, with an emphasis on electronic, optical and structural properties from semiconductor materials and devices, working mainly on the following topics: III-V semiconductor nanostructures (quantum wells, nanowires, and quantum dots), high-disordered alloys based on III-Bi/N-V materials, semiconductor oxides, semiconductor's spintronic, photovoltaics materials, magneto-optics phenomena in resonant tunneling diodes and semiconductor nanostructures. Furthermore, he coordinates research projects on optoelectronics and photonics with international cooperation, in addition to supervising undergraduate and graduate students. Participates in projects to modernize engineering education in UFSCar. He was the coordinator of the Electrical Engineering course at UFSCar in the period 08/2018 - 02/2021. He is currently coordinator of the human resources training program (Capacitação 4.0 - softskills skills) at the EMBRAPII-UFSCar Unit (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
