Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Física Gleb Wataghin (IFGW)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Holds a degree in Physics Teaching from the Federal University of Pelotas (2004), a master's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2006), and a Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2012). Currently, he is a professor at the Fluminense Federal University, EEIMVR-UFF, since 2015. He has experience in the field of high-energy physics, with an emphasis on neutrino phenomenology and data analysis, especially in the topics of atmospheric neutrinos, neutrino oscillations, and physics beyond the Standard Model, as well as the interaction of high and ultra-high energy neutrinos. He has independently analyzed data (WITHOUT BLACK BOX) from the SUPERKAMIOKANDE, MINOS, MINIBOONE, ICECUBE, and DUNE experiments. He is also a specialist in the key component in describing these experiments, the neutrino-nucleon cross-section, particularly for the deeply inelastic scattering (nu-DIS) regime, studying the impact of partonic saturation physics, nuclear effects, etc., on the interaction of ultra-high energy neutrinos. He is a member of the DUNE Experiment, representing UFF in the IB of the DUNE collaboration. He is the author of the proposal to study the DUNE's sensitivity to the mechanism of Non-Standard Interactions of neutrinos using atmospheric neutrinos. He was a member of the PPG of IF-UFF and currently collaborates with the PPGs of IFM-UFPel and IFGW-UNICAMP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
